Dual Concept – Symmery

“Symmetry” is the title we gave to this, the second maxi released by the young Spanish producers called Dual Concept. This original track has the feel and sounds of deep house from 1995, with a very personal touch of Brazilian flavor.
For the occasion, we decided to ask our boy Nacho Marco, aka Loudeast, to do a remix. Internationally recognized for his DJing and his studio work, with releases on labels such as Shinichi, Odori, D.Press, Alola, and Swift, he was the obvious choice to turn “Symmetry” into an old-school jam. With a Depeche Mode-ish bassline, Public Enemy vocal snippets, and piano chords that throw you back into the late ’80s and early ’90s, Loudeast nailed it.
On the B side, we have an in-house mix by our main man, GarcyNoise, alongside the well-established Latin pianist, Daniel Sanchez. Here, they extract the Latin flavor from the original, electrify it, add a pinch of samba, and ensure the cheese is kept out. The result? A solid tune, full of changes that take you around the world without ever leaving the dance floor.
