Super producer Mura Masa releases his first 7″ single on his own record label Pond Recordings, featuring the monumental soulful house track ‘rise’, the calling card to the artist’s new dancefloor focused era as an independent artist. ‘gimme’, the vinyl’s B Side, is a much more dark and underground electronic track that Mura Masa first debuted on his recent BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. This short run of vinyl is the first physical release on Pond Recordings and will no doubt prove to be a very important milestone in the development of the label.
